Interop NY: Virtualization Quick Poll

Live (almost) from NY…

Given all of the buzz around virtualization, we decided to take a quick poll during the first day of Interop NY. Despite booth visitors stealing our marbles (everything that’s not nailed down qualifies as a giveaway!) and the one gentleman who thought they were candy and put them in his mouth! – we have some interesting results to the question:

How has your organization embraced virtualization?

From the show opening at 11AM to 3:30PM, 143 people took the poll. Our poll says:

•    47% are virtualizing and loving it!
•    27% are dipping their toes in the water with research
•    22% have just started – it’s too early to tell
•    4% say it’s not for them and they have no plans to virtualize

We’ll be conducting another poll tomorrow – as long as we don’t lose all of our marbles along the way!
