Making the Inc 500 Again

Whoa, check this out. We just made the prestigious Inc. 500 list. We’re popping champagne corks here in the offices as it was announced that we’ve placed No. 490 on this list. ScienceLogic made it at #42 in the DC Metro Area - again the top metro region for the Inc 500.It is a great achievement to make the list two years in a row!
Crazy how this little, 6 year old company has become all grown up so fast. When I think about all that our team has been able to accomplish in such a short time, it humbles me. Kudos to the whole team here!
Despite the fact that we got listed erroneously in the IT Services category of the list (should have been Software), we are a product company and proud of it. No knock against services business or businesses that are venture capital funded, but to make the list as a product company without the help of a big government services contract or the external capital and acceleration that VC’s can provide is quite an accomplishment.
And making the list twice in a row proves we’re no flash in the pan. Our ability to consistently grow even in this economic downturn is validation of our initial vision – to create the IT management solution the market really needed, priced for the midmarket and delivered as appliances that returned value immediately. And it’s a testament to the customers who continue to believe that we’re getting it right and that we’re helping them solve their real day-to-day IT operations issues.
